Most of the people in the database only have a name and a reference of who their father is. The database supports much more than that however.
The database holds the person's titles (Fiqi, Suldaan, Ugaas, etc), their name, their nickname (if any), any additional differentiating titles (like al-Jeberti, al-Hashemi, al-Aqeeli) and room for a biography of the person in question. Also, who their mother is.
It also holds the birth year, where they were born, the year they died, and where they are buried.

I believe Somali lineage will not be Arab such proclaimed Darod, .If their Encestor from Arab then What is the benefit left to them? For axample Arab marchants came to Mombas and intermarried with Kenyans who lived there and then converted to Islam so when marchants left in Mombasa , they had left for language, so now if u go there all mombas lived spoken Arab >

Daarod said from Somewhere in Arab, some people said Turkish, Yemenis, others Omans that tells contridiction of existance of Daarod from some where in arab land. So what is the benefit did Jaberti left ?

All somali poeple from Tana River and King of Kush for over centuries?

any one who has real fact to beleive that Jaberti was Mullah from some where in Arab we need specif proof for His benefit entities left for DAAAROD"?

I am genoalogist and research of Encestors for Somalia

Hi Liiban,
Somali actually has a great deal of influence upon the language by Arabic. Af-Maay for instance has much less Arabic influence than Af-Maxay, and is a very different language, and Boorana Oromo has very little influence from Arabic, and you can actually see the influence of Arabic upon the Somali language. The sentence structure, many many words, and the inflections and even the names of Somalis are heavily influenced from Arabic.

Somali is something of a half-way point between a "pure" Cushite language like Borana Oromo, and a "pure" Arabic language like Classical Arabic, with a lot of influence from Persian as well.

I think that the Arab lineages and Persian influence in Somalia have something to do with the history of Somalia, which includes being settled by the Bazrangid Empire of Persia and Oman in 300 BCE, and conquered by the Caliphate in 640 CE.
