He was nicknamed Ar-Rakhilah because he is a person who has nothing. His only beloved goat was slaughtered while he was feasting on his guests. When he found out that the meal was gone and there was nothing left for his family, he prayed to Allah swt. so that the goat is revived as rizki for him. God answered his prayer by reviving his goat.
Muhammad ar-Rakhilah was blessed with 5 sons, namely: Hasan, Ali, Husin, Alwi, Salim. However only one of his sons ever managed to leave descendants, his name is Salim
