Daud Jibril better known as Reer dood are a section of Jibril Abokor Muse S. Isxaaq. The story goes Daud killed a one of his relatives then went on the run to south Somalia. His offspring came back a while later and know that their father had killed a man they decided to claim something else. So when they where asked what is your tribe, instead of saying we are Habar Jeclo they said we are Reer Daud. Reer Daud would later on be charged to Reer Dood.

However a lot of HJ elders deny this claim and say that Reer dood are not HJ or Muse sheikh Isxaaq by blood. But due to political alliance they have been put under the HJ umbrella. Other Elders believe the story is legitimate and Reer Dood are day Jibril. So in conclusion this story is debatable.

Are all the offspring of Jibriil Abokor Jibriil Muuse Sh Ishaq belong to Habar Jelo?
The answer is, no!
When you hear Bah or Habar, there should be three conditions that needs to be fulfilled
1. Existance of more than two wifes. If the man marries only one wife, the Bah or Habar doesnt apply. In this case, Jibril had more that two wifes.
2. Atleast two wives must have children. If only one wife had a children the Bah or Habar doesnt apply.
3. In order the Bah or Habar reference to continue, atleast two wives must bare a male child that survived. If the one of the male children dies or his offspring becomes extinct, the Habar reference will cease and the tribal name goes back to the founder. We know the name Habar Jeclo survived for centuries because Jibril was survived by three sons from two wives.
We know one of Jibril’s wives was from Toljele of Ahmed Sh Ishaq lineage, hence getting the name Bah Toljele (Habar Toljelr). Little is know about Daa’ud’s mother. The Habr Toljelo became numerous and Daa’uud, along Imran and Sanbur, went under their umbrella.

The question of whether Reer Dood is Habr Jelo or not becomes easy to answer.
